Jakarta Old Town
The Jakarta Old Town is officially known as Kota Tua. This area comprises of the former downtown area of Jakarta during the period of colonisation by the Dutch. The old town lies in the region of West and North Jakarta. Today, its buildings from the colonisation period still remains, with the main town hall building now converted to Jakarta History Museum. If you are interested to learn about Jakarta’s history, and want to get a feel of what it is like to live like under the colonisation rule, the old town is a place to visit

Thousand Islands or Pulau Seribu as it is known in Bahasa Indonesia, are a cluster of beautiful, picturesque islands with breathtaking views.
