What is the Meaning of Airport to Airport
Airport to Airport refers to shipments that are used in the form of air freight. In Air freight shipments, the airport is involved as a door to door, door to port, port to door or port to port. Each mode of shipment involves an airport as a sort of intermediary to allow the flow of goods from the origin to the destination.
For Airport to Airport shipments, the goods are only transported from the airport at the origin to the airport of the named destination. This is unlike other forms of shipment like door to door, door to port and port to door, as they come with delivery and pick up services.
What is the meaning of Airport Tax
An airport tax is issued by the local airport management of the country of destination. This is usually charged to passengers entering the country and passing through the airport. The airport tax charges are usually included in the total price of an airline ticket.
What is the meaning of Airport Access Fee
Airport Access Fee is different from the Airport Tax that is mentioned earlier. In fact, these are a different typeof charges given by the airport’s management for car rental company’s on using the airport’s compounds. The Airport Access Fee is passed on to the customers of the car rental company for the payment. In some cases, a different term may be used to describe the payment instead.
