Financial Controller

Kargo is disrupting the massive $250B logistics industry in Indonesia, aiming to be the market leader in the industry. To ensure we will be able to achieve that mission, a strong Financial Controller is a vital key. The Financial Controller will oversee overall financial resources with strong internal control. This role is responsible for orchestrating all resources rhythms including budget, forecast, closing, reviews and ensuring end to end flow while continuing to drive standardization and simplification.

Who you are and what you’ll do:

• First principles thinker. You will exercise robust analytical on P/L report particularly cost and expenses, understand the cost and expenses trends on month to month basis including the fluctuation analysis and variance analysis against budget
• Ownership. You will monitor and control the costs and expenses disbursement, including the daily PO execution and provide a recommendation to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness. You will also monitor the effectiveness of above the line marketing spend and promotion budgets (sales incentives, cash backs, vouchers, etc).
• Do more with less. You will provide and listen to recommendation to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Data driven. Identifying, aggregating and assigning cost and expenses under function to business lines by using relevant key-metrics in order to generate calculation of profitability report by business lines.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience with key strengths in accounting and tax standard and compliance
• Experience working in Big 4 firms and logistic industry
• Adept skills in financial modelling and presentation
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
