RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the specification, prioritization, scheduling, resourcing, execution, and testing of software components
  • Identify engineering and product team needs regarding process, tools, documentation and asset management
  • Ensure the development processes between product and engineering working at optimum efficiency
  • Manage prioritization of feature requests and tasks management
  • Writing functional product specifications that get handed to engineers to design and build the product features
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Articulate technical aspects with multi-functional partner
  • Building the team including interviewing and new initiatives
  • Develop documentation and capacity plans
  • Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers and product demonstrating technical product expertise

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of technical product management experience
  • Excellent project management skills to help teams deliver on time
  • Demonstrated experience of managing large projects using efficient product and software development lifecycles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.  Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of audiences ranging in skill set (highly technical to non-technical) and experience (individual contributors to executive management), cross-organizationally and with external partners
  • Excellent people skills required. Must be able to build, lead and motivate a team in a matrixed project environment.  Must be comfortable with mitigating team conflict and resolving communication or other problems within the project team
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills combined with impeccable business judgment
  • Must be resourceful and seek solutions through information gathering, stakeholder discussions, and/or judgment
  • Strong leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional leader
  • Good understanding in basic computer science knowledge and QA
  • BS/MS/PHD in computer science or equivalent from reputable university
  • Excellent in verbal and written English skills
