RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build world-class marketplace platform
Design core, backend or frontend software components
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Own, manage and improve our release process
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Handle the hardest problems or bugs in the platform
Implement the right architecture and follow best coding standard
Articulate technical aspects with multi-functional partner
Building the team including interviewing and new initiatives
Develop documentation and capacity plans
Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

8 year of experience with one general purpose programming languages including Java or functional programming with overseas working experience (outside Indonesia)
4+ year experience in architecting, designing, preferably in tech companies with 10+ million users
Experienced with payment system, high-concurrency and security practices
Deep experience with marketplace platform, continuous delivery and deployment
Experienced managing large scale systems and manage more than 5 engineers
Experienced with Devops and AWS stacks
Previous success developing and shipping a large-scale application services
Strong leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional leader
Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent understanding in basic computer science knowledge
BS/MS/PHD in computer science or equivalent from reputable university
Excellent in verbal and written English skills
